Summer is here. Some of us have every week mapped. Others, like me, are purposely leaving gaps. Room for ‘feral summer’ to creep in just enough: lazy days cousins on the beach, uniforms sitting neatly on shelves while swim trunks take over, breakfast for dinner, movie marathons. Peppered with camps and lessons and classes...

Two hundred and fifty years ago, a group of people made a bet no one had ever dared to make before - that a nation called America could be built on a principle - that everyone - no matter their bloodline - has a chance to achieve their dream.
